Jaya discovered her passion for golf at fourteen as a junior member at Vancouver Golf Club, where she committed herself to developing the discipline, skill, and competitive mindset required to perform at a high level. As a highly competitive junior golfer, she built a strong foundation that prepared her for collegiate golf.
She earned a full scholarship to Simon Fraser University, where she competed in the NCAA Division II for five seasons. During her collegiate career, she was named Freshman of the Year, recorded over a dozen Top-10 finishes, won an NCAA event, placed 7th at the 2019 National Championships, and earned All-American honours. She also served as Team Captain during her final two seasons and graduated with a Communications degree in 2021.
Now competing professionally, Jaya enters tournaments across North America, continuing to refine her game at the highest levels. As a PGA of Canada professional, she is passionate about helping golfers improve their swing mechanics, course management, and confidence on the course.
